Holdr operates https://getholdr.xyz, a platform that facilitates peer-to-peer crypto trades through automated, per-deal escrow wallets. This policy applies to the website, dashboard, ticket rooms, and related services linked from getholdr.xyz.
2. Information we collect
Discord account data
When you sign in with Discord OAuth, we request the identify scope and receive:
- Discord user ID
- Username and display name (global name, when available)
- Avatar URL
We do not request your Discord email address, message content, or server membership lists through the standard sign-in flow.
Deal and platform data
When you create or participate in deals, we process:
- Ticket and deal metadata (amounts, assets, status, timestamps)
- On-chain deposit and payout addresses associated with deals
- Transaction hashes and confirmation status
- Messages sent within ticket chat rooms on Holdr
- Trading statistics (volume, completed deals, tier progress)
Technical data
We may automatically collect limited technical information, such as:
- Browser type, device type, and general usage logs
- IP address and request timestamps (for security, abuse prevention, and diagnostics)
- Session cookies required for authentication
3. How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your session
- Display usernames and avatars in tickets, profiles, and the leaderboard
- Operate automated deposit detection, release flows, and payouts
- Maintain deal history, reputation stats, and tier calculations
- Provide support when you contact us or open a ticket
- Detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms
- Improve reliability, security, and performance of the platform
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your location, we process personal data based on: performance of our service contract with you, legitimate interests in operating a secure trading platform, compliance with legal obligations, and — where required — your consent.

- Discord — for OAuth authentication (subject to Discord's Privacy Policy)
- Blockchain networks — on-chain transactions are public by design; wallet addresses and transaction hashes are visible on public ledgers
- Infrastructure providers — such as RPC/node providers used for deposit scanning and payout broadcasting
- Law enforcement or regulators — when required by valid legal process or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity
Your counterparty in a deal can see information displayed in the shared ticket room, including your Discord display name, avatar, and deal-related messages.
6. Data retention
We retain account and deal records for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Session data expires according to standard authentication cookie lifetimes. You may request deletion of certain profile data subject to limitations where retention is required for open deals, legal compliance, or fraud prevention.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your Discord account and devices used to access Holdr.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@getholdr.xyz or via our support ticket system. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. International transfers
Data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
10. Children
Holdr is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
